La flautista Bobbi Humphrey debuttò su Blue Note nel 1971 e incise una serie di sei album godibilissimi il cui culmine fu proprio Fancy Dancer (1975), sua terza collaborazione con il sopra citato produttore Larry Mizell.
Ancora una volta, una collaborazione vincente, con il flauto di Bobbi che danzava sulle note delle composizioni appositamente siglate da Mizell come Uno Esta, You Make Me Feel So Good e Please Set Me At Ease.
